EcoForesters hosts Warren Wilson forest tour Oct. 20

Press release from EcoForesters:

Come join EcoForesters to learn how to be a good steward of your forest!

Where: Warren Wilson College’s Forests
When: Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.

Please email Andy Tait at atait@ecoforesters.org or call (828) 484-6842 to register for this free event.

A presentation on Ecologically Beneficial Forestry will be followed by a walking tour of Warren Wilson College’s actively managed forests, with a free lunch afterward!

Unsustainable management has left many forests seriously degraded, and threats like invasive plants, development and forest pests put the health of our forests at further risk.  EcoForesters, as a nonprofit professional forestry organization, is committed to conserving and restoring our Appalachian forests.  Come see how to save money on forestland taxes, rehabilitate your forest and generate some income!
