Election Day for the Republican Second Primary is May 14, and results will determine the Republican nomination for Lieutenant Governor and State Auditor. Saturday, May 11 will close out Early Voting in Buncombe County.
On Election Day, all 80 precincts will be open, and as a reminder, North Carolina voters will be asked to show photo ID when they check in to vote. Learn more at Voter ID. If you are voting absentee-by-mail, all ballots must be returned to Election Services by 7:30 p.m. on May 14. To find your precinct information, head to buncombecounty.org/vote and click the voter information button.
In Buncombe County for this election eligibility is as follows:
All registered Republicans
Unaffiliated voters who voted Republican in the March 5 Primary
Unaffiliated voters who did not vote in the March 5 Primary
