Fine Amnesty Day at the library – Friday, July 26

Press release from Buncombe County Public Libraries:

Have a pile of library books that you’ve had for a very long time? If they’re still in good shape, bring them to the library on Friday, July 26. We’ll check them in and forgive the fines! Do you know you have late fees and you’ve been avoiding the library because of them? No worries, quit avoiding us and come in on Friday! Late fee fines will be deleted, no matter how high they are. You do need to come into the library for fine forgiveness, phone calls and emails won’t be considered for amnesty. You can have your fines forgiven at ANY library in Buncombe County.  We’re celebrating 100 years of being a free public library and we want all of you to celebrate with us!
