Flat Rock hosts ‘Barq in the Parq’ benefit event for dog lovers

Flat Rock, NC – There’s a new bark in town. The inaugural Barq In The Parq event for dog lovers is coming, May 17th to the Mountain Lodge and Conference Center in Flat Rock. Barq In The Parq is a wag-filled community event for dog lovers and their best friends to benefit the non-profit organizations Blue Ridge Humane Society, Charlies Angels, Brother Wolf and Horse About.

Entry fee is only $5 and with over 40 vendors from Asheville to Greenville participating with you and your dogs health in mind… the day will be filled with contests, music, food, art, agility training and more.

Barq In The Parq is Saturday, May 17th from 10am to 6pm on the Green at Mountain Lodge and Conference Center just off I-26 and Upward Road in Flat Rock. Rain or Shine.

Organizers WTZQ AM-1600 and Mountain Lodge & Conference Center are proud to have as presenting sponsors BMW of Asheville and Morris Broadband. Supporting sponsors include Hunter Subaru, Bank of North Carolina, Diamond Pet Food, and Boyd Chevrolet.
