Flat Rock restaurant featured on Carolina’s CW’s ‘The Daily Dish’

Local restaurant Season’s at Highland Lake was recently featured as “The Daily Dish” segment on Studio 62 on the Carolina’s CW 62 in Spartanburg, SC. The segment featured an interview with On-air host Jamarcus Gaston and highlighted a diverse array of dishes offered by the Flat Rock fine dining establishment.

Cathy Horton, Senior Restaurant Manager, described the dishes as “representing the core philosophies that inspire the chefs at Season’s.” Ingredients used at the restaurant are sourced from Season’s on site organic garden and local farms in the surrounding community. These farms include Three Graces Dairy, Hickory Nut Gap Farms, Sunburst Trout Company, Holly Hill Farms, Beneficial Foods and Lila’s Garden. Season’s also has a well-established history of partnering with Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College’s culinary program and employing many of their students and alumni.

The staff at Season’s prides itself on the use of sustainable ingredients along with the use of dayboat-caught seafood approved by the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood Watch. Horton also described visiting Season’s as, “A great opportunity to stay, play and dine”. Horton continued by highlighting Season’s proximity to nearby attractions such as The Flat Rock Playhouse, DuPont State Forest, the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, the Biltmore Estate and downtown Hendersonville.
