Announcement from Foothills Humane Society:
Columbus, North Carolina – Foothills Humane Society (FHS) will participate in the ASPCA National Adoption Weekend from Friday, June 5 through Sunday, June 7 to encourage the public to safely complete adoptions from home amid the COVID-19 crisis. During this time, FHS will process on-line applications, showcase available pets on Facebook and Instagram and welcome potential adopters to meet our available dogs in our spacious outdoor pavilion and cats by visiting the Catio. FHS’s shelter protocol is adoption by appointment only and the facilities team uses hospital-grade disinfectant throughout the shelter, and high-touch areas are being cleaned throughout the day.
