Former candidate Eichenbaum praises Meadows and Patterson but doesn’t endorse either

Here’s the message from Dr. Dan Eichenbaum via his email newsletter:

I have had several opportunities to get to know both of these fine men. I find their intentions and goals to become District 11 Congressman honorable, and most of their positions would mirror my own were I a candidate today. Mark and Vance have made great financial and personal sacrifices in stepping forward to serve a nation in need at this time in history. Each man is committed to slowing, stopping and reversing our fast-paced slide toward the edge of a financial abyss from which there will be no return. And each is committed to restoring the law of the land and our freedoms based on the only true user’s manual, written by our founding fathers, America has ever known . . . the US Constitution.

I believe Vance Patterson and Mark Meadows are equally committed to blocking and dismantling the many tentacles of Agenda 21 wherever they may hide. I especially appreciate Mark Meadows’ active support of grassroots efforts in Cherokee County to educate our commissioners about the real threat of Agenda 21 at the local level through the Southwestern Commission’s (part of the Regional Council of Governments) push for sustainable development and theft by regulation through implementation of a Comprehensive Development Plan laid out in the Mountain Landscapes Initiatives’ ToolBox for Region A (covering the seven far western North Carolina counties). I have been impressed with Mark’s willingness to stand up publicly and speak out boldly against Agenda 21.

In addition, both of these candidates will work hard to repeal ObamaCare, and both are committed to upholding their commitment of accountability to “We the People” of Western North Carolina.

It is a certainty that whoever emerges victorious on July 17 will absolutely need the support of every conservative in WNC to win on November 6. It is also a certainty that attacks on the character of our two remaining candidates will hinder and damage what should be a slam dunk for a 2012 District 11 GOP victory. Although we will have only one winner, Vance and Mark are on the same team – my team. My goals are their goals . . . starting with ensuring that District 11 does not serve up another so-called “Blue Dog Democrat” to Washington DC who will support the Pelosi-Reid progressive, anti-American, socialist agenda!

I will carefully review all of the information available to me on this race. I will confidently cast my vote on July 17 and will work hard for our chosen candidate as we head into November.
