Hayden Rogers Earns DCCC’s Top-Tier Candidate Designation
Exclusive “Red to Blue” Designation Proves Rogers on Target to Win

Brasstown, NC — Today Hayden Rogers announced that he has earned a spot in the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s (DCCC) highly competitive Red to Blue program. The elite Red to Blue designation is reserved for the highest priority Democratic races across the nation and solidifies Rogers’s status as a top-tier candidate on target to win in November.

“Today’s announcement is a testament to the strength of our campaign and the tremendous support we have received across the 11th District,” Rogers said. “Western North Carolina families are hungry for a solutions-driven leader in Congress who will fight for their interests, not a partisan ideologue, and voters in the 11th District from across the political spectrum are rallying behind our common sense message. Being named to the Red to Blue program is just further proof that we have the support and momentum to win in November. ”

“As a small business owner, Hayden Rogers is a proven problem solver who knows how to balance a budget, meet payroll, and create jobs. Hayden will build on the successful track record of Representative Heath Shuler by putting partisanship aside to rebuild our economy,” said DCCC Chairman Steve Israel. “With his strong commitment to the mountain values of family, faith, hard work, and independence, Hayden will fight tirelessly for Western North Carolina families and seniors.”

In just over four months since beginning his campaign, Rogers has captured significant national attention from his ability to build remarkable financial and grassroots support throughout the 11th District. Rogers was previously named to the DCCC’s “Emerging Races” program only eight weeks into his campaign. The Red-to-Blue designation ensures Rogers’s campaign is a top priority for the DCCC and Democratic supporters across the country between now and the November election.
