Asheville City Government, in partnership with the Asheville Downtown Association, is giving away FREE ART transit rides to the 2015 Asheville Holiday Parade, happening at 11 a.m. Nov. 21 in downtown Asheville, http://www.ashevilledowntown.org/holidays.
See how quick and easy it is to plan a ride from your neighborhood using the interactive route scheduling system at http://www.ashevillenc.gov/Departments/Transit.aspx. Then pick up your tickets from 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday–Friday at Asheville City Hall, Fifth floor reception desk.

Asheville City Market to close for parade
Also please note that the Asheville City Market at the Public Works Building parking lot, 161 S. Charlotte St., will be closed Nov. 21 only because of the Asheville Holiday Parade.
