Green Opportunities announces leadership change

In a PRESS RELEASE announcing a leadership change, Green Opportunities writes:

Dear Friends and Supporters,

On behalf of Green Opportunities, we are writing to notify our community that, effective September 30, 2016, George C. Jones, Jr. has departed his role as Executive Director.

Beginning October 3, 2016, we are pleased to share that Student Development Director Joseph Hackett has assumed the role of Interim Executive Director for Green Opportunities.

During his tenure as Student Development Director, Mr. Hackett has been intricately involved with the cultivation of foundational partnerships for Green Opportunities. Mr. Hackett has proven himself adept at organizing systems and processes that drive our organization towards channels of growth and positive member outcomes.

During this time of transition, under the direction of Mr. Hackett, the staff at Green Opportunities remains resolutely committed to upholding the mission of the organization and performing the daily duties required to ensure that the quality services Green Opportunities provides continue to be available to our community.

The Board of Directors, Mr. Hackett, and the staff of Green Opportunities look forward to continuing to partner with you to create economic opportunities for the community members we collectively serve. Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Dewanna Little, Co-Chairwoman, Green Opportunities
Charles Howell, Co-Chairman, Green Opportunities
