Grove Park’s EDISON to host beer brunch series

PRESS RELEASE from The Omni Grove Park Inn:

September 23, 2015 (Asheville, N.C.) – EDISON craft ales + kitchen is hosting a Beer Brunch Series one Sunday each month from October to January from 12- 3pm. These a la carte Beer Brunches will integrate the brewers craft with the culinary work of the chef. Each Beer Brunch will offer an exclusive menu utilizing our beer partner’s brews, along with beer flights and original beer cocktails, like the Sage Manmosa, a combination of sage infused pineapple juice and Mama’s Lil Yella Pils.

The Beer Brunch Series kicks off on Sunday, Oct. 4 with Oskar Blues, who also partnered with the Inn for the inaugural Beer Dinner last spring. More brunches will follow with partners, New Belgium Brewing on November 15, Highland Brewing on December 13, and Pisgah Brewing on January 17.

The October 4 Oskar Blues Beer Brunch menu will include items such as:

Warm Kale + Sweet Potato Salad served with crispy skin, poached egg, and tamari + sesame vinaigrette -$8

Rock Shrimp, Mussels + Gnudi steamed in Mama’s Lil Yella Pils and Inn grown herbs – $8

House made Sockeye Gravlox with potato + bagel croquette with beet cream cheese – $8

Smoked Tri Tip Benedict topped with Lusty Monk hollandaise, house pickle, and poached eggs-$8

Vanilla + Buttermilk French Toast with Ten Fidy + maple preserved mutsu apples – $15

Each Beer Brunch will also feature a brewer from the featured partner to answer questions and chat with brunch guests.
