According to a press release, Hand in Hand Gallery (2720 Greenville Highway /NC 225 in Flat Rock), will close on Saturday, Dec. 29. The gallery has been in business for 16 years. “The owners, potter David Voorhees and jeweler Molly Sharp Voorhees, are retiring from the retail gallery business to pursue their own artwork exclusively in their Zirconia home studios,” says the press release. A closing celebration takes place on Dec. 29, from 4 to 8 p.m. “Many of the gallery artists will be present. Food, beverages, music and door prizes will be offered. The closing party is a celebration of, and a thank you for the relationships developed, artists to customers and gallery family to the community. The public is invited to this free event.”
