UPDATE: Missing person located

Update from the city of Hendersonville:

James Ruth has been located and he is safe.

Press release from the city of Hendersonville:

The Hendersonville Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing man. James Ruth, a 92-year-old white man, went missing at approximately 10:00 am on August 24 in the area of Balsam Road and Greenville Highway in Hendersonville. Mr. Ruth was last seen wearing a blue short sleeve shirt, red checked flannel shirt, dark blue pants, and a Korean War Veteran hat. He left on foot and may possibly be wearing a light khaki jacket. Anyone with information on Mr. Ruth’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Hendersonville Police Department at (828) 697-3025.
