Press Release

From Hi-Wire Brewing

ASHEVILLE, NC – December 4, 2013 – After over three months of aging in bourbon barrels, Hi-Wire Brewing’s collaboration brew with Burial Beer Co. – the Firebreather – is finally ready! The party to celebrate the release is being held Tuesday, December 10th at the Thirsty Monk in downtown Asheville, at their downstairs Belgian bar. At 9.6% ABV, incorporating local ingredients from Riverbend Malt House and Haw Creek Honey, aged for over three months in Bulleit rye bourbon barrels, and hand-bottled and red wax-capped in 750ml champagne-style bottles at Hi-Wire Brewing’s downtown Asheville facility, Firebreather is truly a special limited release!

At the tasting room, look for more nightly specials coming soon, including $2.50 (Hi- Wire pint) Tuesdays and the return, in January, of kettle corn on Kettle Corn Mondays! Be sure to like Hi-Wire on facebook and follow Hi-Wire on twitter for the latest updates. And, as a reminder, get Hi-Wire’s seasonal Strongman Coffee Milk Stout while it’s still flowing at the tasting room and in six-packs throughout the state!
