Hotel job fair hosted at Mars Hill Town Hall

Asheville, North Carolina, August 1, 2017 – Major hotel employers in the region will be holding a new kind of job fair on Wednesday, August 2 at the Mars Hill Town Hall from noon until 6:00 pm. Billed as “A Job Fair that takes you to the heart of Asheville” these jobs come with more than just a paycheck and a new career. They could include an affordable ride to work, for qualified applicants.

Residents of Madison County, North Buncombe, and beyond are invited to a job fair hosted by the hotel industry of Asheville, Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, and Go Mountain Commuting. Positions include Front Desk Agents, Cooks, Housekeeping, Dining Services, Retail Sales Agents, Maintenance, and more.

Plus – at this first-of-its kind Job Fair – select applicants may be eligible for affordable shuttle transportation, from Madison County to these excellent hotel jobs. Commuting made easy! If transportation to work has historically been a deal breaker for employment, this Job Fair has you covered. The option of very affordable and sustainable shuttle transportation is on the table, when enough density of employment is reached along the I-26 corridor of North Buncombe and Madison counties.
