The Jackson County Chamber of Commerce published its tenth Our Town magazine on Friday, Feb. 6. The annual publication serves as a guide on relocating to or residing in the area and also highlights “the many wonderful businesses, events and communities of Jackson County,” according to a release from the chamber.

We are proud to release this year’s Our Town magazine,” says Jackson County Chamber of Commerce executive director Julie Spiro. “It features a complete chamber membership directory for our locals and visitors to the area. We distribute this publication all across the U.S. each year.”

This year’s forty-four page edition covers Sylva fireworks, “big time small town weddings,” philanthropic efforts by Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and a historic look at Harris Regional Hospital among other features.

It’s certainly more than coffee table literature,” adds Spiro. “It’s an essential tool for anyone interested in visiting or living in Jackson County.”
