From the community arts center:
Think Joyful Noise is only about stringed instruments? Think again! Along with a thriving strings program, we offer classes in dance, drama, voice, visual arts, Kindermusik and more.
Joyful Noise is a nonprofit community arts center that offers classes in several locations including Weaverville, Asheville and Marshall. Our mission is to provide quality arts experiences that inspire creativity, cultivate connections to regional cultural heritage and enrich the lives of all members of the community. Currently we have over 200 students and are continuing to grow.
We’d like to express our gratitude to the community for the support we’ve received by offering everyone a chance to come experience our classes for free. We are offering a FREE Spectacular Saturday Sampler that will include sample classes in clogging, Irish step dancing, drama, cello, violin, fiddle, banjo, guitar, singing, songwriting and Kindermusik.
Join us for our free Spectacular Saturday Sampler on Saturday, March 3, 1 p.m.to 4 p.m. at our Weaverville location, 30 Alabama Ave. You will have the chance to experience several different classes in this fun-filled day, but you must register by March 1. Call 712-7559 for details and registration. Classes are offered ranging from newborns to adults so everyone is welcome. Come join us for this energizing day offered to students new and old to say thank you, welcome and keep experiencing the arts!
