Asheville Police Department investigators are still searching for answers in a homicide case in which a young man was gunned down in front of his family home in Asheville almost two years ago.

Kanize Jackson was just 20 years old when someone shot him in front of his home on Buffalo Street around 7:22 p.m. on Aug. 5, 2020. Today, Kanize would have celebrated his 22nd birthday.
