Specialized Physical Therapy is set to host its inaugural Knock Out Parkinson’s 5K on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018, at Fletcher Park in Fletcher, NC.
All community members and Knock Out Parkinson’s supporters are invited to attend the event to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson’s Disease. Registration will start at 7:00 a.m., and the walk/run will start at 8:30 a.m. This is a run/walk, so come on out whether it is your first 5K or you are trying to set that personal record!
Proceeds from this event will benefit Rock Steady Boxing, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization, which gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.
