Press release from League of Women Voters of Asheville-Buncombe County
Have you ever thought about helping to register voters for the League, but you’re not sure what’s involved? Or do you have experience registering voters but you need to brush up your knowledge?
Sign up here for our Voter Registration Training session June 8, 5:30 p.m., at the North Asheville Public Library.
We all know how important it is to encourage people to vote and to make sure they have accurate information about voting. You can represent the League of Women Voters and make a difference.
There’s no obligation to volunteer if you take the training, but if you attend, you’ll learn about important changes to the process in 2023, and you’ll be qualified to volunteer at registration events. There will always be an experienced person at each event, so there’s no need to worry about not knowing enough.
Sign up here or if you have any questions you can email us at lwvabvoter@gmail.com.
We hope to see you on June 8!
