Here’s the press release from the office of Rep. Mark Meadows:
Washington, D.C. – Representative Mark Meadows (NC-11) released the following statement following the attack in Boston this afternoon.
“My prayers are with the families of those impacted by today’s horrific attack at the Boston Marathon. As we continue to learn more in the aftermath of the bombing, I pray that God will have his hand upon the injured as well as the families of those killed in this tragic event. I am grateful for the quick action by first responders, who daily put themselves in harm’s way, to protect as many people as possible in the wake of the blasts. On this dark day for our nation, we must come together to support the city of Boston and people around the world as they grieve.”
