Community event hub MetroWines will host a fun and informal class on the pronunciation of common French foods and wines on Tuesday, July 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the shop.

Local restaurant Bouchon’s menu will serve as the primary text for the class, hosted by Asheville French School founder Allison Weems for $15 per person (tickets here). A tasting of red, white and rose wines with French bread and cheeses will accompany the studies.

Visit metrowinesasheville.com for more information or call 575-9525 to reserve your seat. Parking is free at the shop’s 169 Charlotte Street location.
