Mills River to unveil 2040 comprehensive plan in public workshop series

MILLS RIVER, North Carolina – The Town of Mills River embarked on its first comprehensive plan in early 2019. The Town is now ready to present its findings for public review and comment.

September 16, 2020 marks the beginning of a series of public workshops, the feedback from which will guide the development of the next phase of the project. These workshops will be conducted online and we ask that you register in advance by visiting the project website at www.makingmillsriver.com.

September 16, 2020 at 3:30 PM

September 17, 2020 at 6:00 PM

October 1, 2020 at 6:00 PM

After these workshops the work of policy development will begin. Do you want to preserve farmland? Encourage growth? What about jobs and housing needs? All of these questions and more will need to be answered over the coming weeks and months.
