From Fanaticon’s website:
Thank you for your interest in FANATICON™! There are currently no plans for a future show.
The organizers and planning team wish to thank all the artists, vendors, organizations, volunteers and attendees who made FANATICON and FANATICON2 so successful. And our deepest thanks to the Asheville Art Museum who made it all possible and to Clear Channel Asheville Radio for helping us spread the word. We truly had a blast and hope you all did, too.
You can still follow FANATICON on Facebook. We’ll be posting news about other area conventions, as well as information relevent to the fan communities in Asheville.
Thanks again!
Team FANATICON

The comments section is here to provide a platform for civil dialogue on the issues we face together as a local community. Xpress is committed to offering this platform for all voices, but when the tone of the discussion gets nasty or strays off topic, we believe many people choose not to participate. Xpress editors are determined to moderate comments to ensure a constructive interchange is maintained. All comments judged not to be in keeping with the spirit of civil discourse will be removed and repeat violators will be banned. See here for our terms of service.
