Press release from WNC Nonprofit Pathways:
Registration is now open for WNC Nonprofit Pathways’ online Nonprofit Fundamentals Certificate Program. Sessions begin January 19, 2022. The program’s curriculum includes 20 in depth courses that focus on core competencies of nonprofit management. Topics for our spring session include equity, grant writing, accounting, fundraising, evaluation, leadership, strategic planning, boards, donor development, communications, and human resources. Program participants will earn a Nonprofit Fundamentals Certificate upon completing eight out of the 20 courses.
The program is designed for seasoned nonprofit leaders and newcomers to the field and is affordable to organizations of all sizes. Participants will have the opportunity to develop action plans that identify issues and actionable items that can be used back at their organizations. Individuals or teams of staff and board members are encouraged to enroll.
Unique to the Nonprofit Fundamentals Certificate Program is the opportunity for three hours of free follow-up support with the instructor after completion of each class. “WNC Nonprofit Pathways has consciously tailored this program to meet the needs of the nonprofits in our region. The combination of local expert instruction, one-one-one follow up coaching support, and a commitment to centering equity makes this an unparalleled experience,” says Niconda Garcia, Program Consultant with WNC Nonprofit Pathways.
