Not Your Mama’s Christmas Show: Kat Williams at White Horse

Local favorite Kat Williams and her great band return to the White Horse Black Mountain on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m. for a special evening of music and merriment, “Not Your Mama’s Christmas Show,” a hilarious musical visit with the Williams Family at Christmas time. Although the melodies may sound familiar, it’s not your average “White Christmas,” as Williams and company answer the age old question, “What happens in Buffalo at Christmas time?”

Emmy-nominated Kat Williams captures listeners with her impressive vocal range, engaging stage persona and a commitment to emotional truth and honesty. An Asheville resident since 1997, her passion for song, astonishingly animated style and spirited sense of humor make for a magical experience.

Music lovers looking to chase away the holiday blues, or simply wanting a good laugh along with great music can expect plenty of musical warmth to keep away the chill. Show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $18.
