Older voter Q&A with N.C. Board of Elections Tuesday, Jan. 30

Press release from AARP

If history holds true, older voters will be a deciding factor in the 2024 elections. With the new voting law in effect in North Carolina, AARP wants to make sure that older voters have the information they need to vote on Primary Day either at their polling location or by absentee ballot.

NC Elections Board Executive Director Karen Bell will host a half-hour live question and answer session for older voters at 1 p.m., on Tuesday, Jan. 30. Hosted by AARP North Carolina and presenting live on Facebook, viewers will have an opportunity to ask their questions to make sure that their votes are counted.

The video of the program will also be available on YouTube, but those who have questions are encouraged to view the presentation on Facebook Live.

WHO: Karen Brinson Bell, Executive Director, NCBOE

WHAT: To answer questions from older voters

WHERE: Facebook Live or YouTube
