Outdoor Aerial Adventure Park opens for the season, March 18

PRESS RELEASE:

Families looking for an exciting adventure this spring won’t need to look far: the season opening for the outdoor aerial adventure park, High Gravity Adventures, is right around the corner. Located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina in Blowing Rock right outside of Boone, this family-friendly ropes course will re-open on March 18, 2016. It’s ideal for a spring break trip or weekend getaway and the perfect time to take advantage of limited time pricing on season passes and general admission tickets are between now and March 18.

Season passes are 15 percent off and are valid anytime during the 2016 season and general admission tickets are 25 percent off. When purchasing season passes online, guests can choose what type of pass they want, select March 18 as the date and enter the coupon code PRESEASON15. When purchasing regular tickets, the PRESEASON25 code can be used.

Get ready to climb to new heights during the 2016 season at High Gravity Adventures! Guests will be able to climb, balance and swing from heights of 15 to 50 feet in the air. There are 75 different aerial challenges that match all skill levels. Unlike ziplines or canopy tours, adventurers will be actively and physically engaged while moving from challenge to challenge. Daredevils will be thrilled to find challenging elements like walking over aerial bridges, crossing tight-rope walks, swinging through floating foot loops and traversing giant spiders’ webs.

Kids as young as four-years-old are welcome to enter the world of High Gravity Adventures. There’s a special Kid’s Course where the little ones can explore their newfound aerial playground with parent/chaperone supervision. No experience is required; with challenges of varying difficulty levels offered, there is something to please hardcore adventure seekers as well as people who prefer to keep their adventure closer to the ground. High Gravity Adventures utilizes state-of-the-art safety systems and the latest technology.

“High Gravity Adventures is an ideal destination for anyone wanting to experience an active, exhilarating outdoor adventure while visiting Blowing Rock and the High Country,” said Ken Jacquot, President of High Gravity Adventures. “We’re excited to welcome both new and returning climbers for another exciting season of vertical adventure.”

In addition to planning a trip to High Gravity Adventures, visitors will be thrilled to find Tweetsie Railroad, a Wild West theme park conveniently located right next door. Opening April 8, guests of all ages can explore an authentic Western town, enjoy amusement rides, take in live shows and of course take a trip on their historic steam locomotive.

As a proud sponsor of the Banff Mountain Film Festival, High Gravity Adventures will also be offering a 20 percent discount on all admission prices with proof of a ticket stub when the festival comes to nearby Boone in mid-March.
