Finding ways to connect with tween and teenage children is a challenge for every parent, especially when the conversation involves their health. Park Ridge Health wants to make sure you have the information and tools you need to have these conversations that are vital to your family’s health and wellness journey.

On September 26, parents are invited to join Park Ridge Health Obstetrics & Gynecology board-certified Nurse Practitioner, Cherie Ledford, ANP-C, for a Free Park Ridge Health Education Series seminar that will address many of the questions that come with parenting a maturing daughter.

She will share information on when and why young women should see a gynecologist, and advice on how to best answer questions concerning sexuality, body changes, menstruation, healthy lifestyles and much more.  This will be a family-friendly event and parents are welcome to bring their daughters to the seminar.
