Passion for Fashion

Magnolia Restaurant (72 Weaverville Hwy) hosts a special fashion show to benefit the domestic violence programs of Pisgah Legal Services. Passion for Fashion takes place on Monday, Oct. 29, 5:30-7:30 p.m. For reservations, contact Virginia Kaufmann at 258-5228 or greatfood@magnoliaray.com.

From a press release: “The Fashion show will feature the designs of J Monet (JMonetBeauty.com). Designer Julia Monet believes in creating beautiful women from the inside out, through clothing, (textures, color, style) Ayurvedic healthy lifestyle, skin care, & cosmetics. After many years in the fashion industry, she discovered that the way a woman dresses can completely change her life, as well as the lives of those around her. With Julia, you choose the fabric, color and style and together, design affordable (wholesale) clothing that makes you look & feel beautiful.

“Other businesses in the community have jumped in support this important fundraiser. Volunteers include members of ACE-Asheville Community Entrepreneurs-who created their networking group to harness the power of people caring for the community that they do business in. A staff member at MANNA Foodbank has volunteered to be a server for the night. Flowers are being donated by Janet Frye Aifd, owner of enchantedfloristasheville.com.”
