Rising from the ashes of their former group, Perpetual Groove, Ghost Owl is Adam Perry, Albert Suttle and Matthew McDonald. As the group was ending their career as Perpetual Groove, they realized they weren’t done with live music quite yet. The immediately formed Ghost Owl, a new style of music for the trio. Since first planting roots in early 2013, the trio has enjoyed an enthusiastic reception to their lush rock/indie/EDM influenced sound and lavishly visual live show. Ghost Owl strives to push their own boundaries of creativity by combining aspects of music, visual art, technology and production to create a complete live experience for fans.
Sky Walkers is a three piece Gangsta-Jazz, electronic, hip-hop band from Asheville NC. With influences coming from the great “Daft Punk” to the legend that is “Steely Dan” these three completely different but like minded musicians come together to create a musical experience that has never been seen before… They call it, Gangsta-Jazz.
Nick Stewart, aka gemNeye, is a live performance artist. Composing and producing all of his own tracks, he performs them improv style — playing off of the crowd’s energy and the overall vibe of the moment. By combining aspects from multiple genres, gemNeye has secured a unique sound in this ever-changing, ever-evolving EDM scene. From funky, “get down” bass music, to uplifting and feel-good tracks, to grimy dub-esque wobbles, to organic rhythmics — you’re guaranteed to move your feet.
