Pour Taproom is celebrating its first anniversary, with festivities taking place at the self-serve bar on Friday, Oct. 9, beginning at 7 p.m. Asheville Sandwich Company will provide free food for attendees, who can also enjoy prizes, a dance party and beer specials throughout the night.
“This past year has been so rewarding. I am very excited to be a part of the West Asheville community,” says owner and general manager Nate Tomforde. “Most importantly, I am thankful for my amazing staff and our loyal customers.”
“This next year we are looking forward to hosting a non-profit event every Thursday night,” he continues. “We will be donating 15 percent of that night’s sales to the non-profit. We have already hosted Lord’s Acre, Asheville Middle School, Our VOICE, and Homeward Bound.”
The West Asheville watering hole will also host a cornhole league every Wednesday in October and a shuffleboard league in November.
Pour Taproom is at 800 Haywood Road. Visit pourtaproom.com for more information.
