Primrose plays a free show at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial

Evolved from Sunday afternoon jam sessions, musical collective Primrose draws from an eclectic repertoire: folk, old time, country and pop. The group’s core members are Carol Kinsey on guitar and vocals; and Lorna Schultis on hammered dulcimer, psaltery, harp and vocals. Cathy Arrowood, a veteran of Shindig on the Green, will join Primrose on upright bass for a special performance at the Thomas Wolfe Memorial. The Saturday, Oct. 13 concert runs from noon-2 p.m. and is free.
