Proformance joins Girls on the Run as sponsor

From Girls on the Run:

ASHEVILLE, NC, October 25, 2013 – Girls on the Run® of Western North Carolina (GOTR of WNC) is pleased to announce Proformance as a Presenting Sponsor for their organization.

Sponsorships are a very important part of accomplishing the GOTR of WNC’s mission of inspiring girls to be joyful, healthy and confident. Businesses that partner with GOTR are always committed to the non-profit’s success and often find some commonality with their own company’s mission. This is especially true with GOTR of WNC’s recent partnership with Proformance. Amy Renigar, GOTR of WNC’s Executive Director says, “We are very excited about having Proformance as a Presenting Sponsor. The Proformance vitamin hydration drink is designed for people wanting to make healthy choices in their diet and that’s exactly what our curriculum encourages our young girls to do every day.”

Arcadia Farms, the makers of Proformance, is committed to empowering today’s youth with knowledge about healthy options. Proformance is a great option to hydrate, replenish electrolytes and supplement with a healthy dose of vitamins. Their vitamin hydration drink is low in calories and sugar, does not contain dyes, and is fortified with vitamins. Because the company is located in the Asheville area, they are able to draw the water they use in Proformance from a natural aquifer flowing through the mountains of Western North Carolina. David Johnston of Arcadia Farms says, “We greatly appreciate the solid and well-run program we see in Girls on the Run of WNC. We are glad we can be a part of helping them accomplish their mission. The program is also a great way to help spread the message about our vitamin-enhanced hydration drink.”
