Republican Nathan Ramsey sent this message via his campaign’s email newsletter thanking supporters for electing him to the N.C. House. Ramsey defeated Democratic challenger Susan Wilson to win the seat in District 115, which includes much of eastern Buncombe County.
Dear Friends,
I am extremely humbled and honored to be elected to serve the people of Buncombe County in the NC House of Representatives. I want to especially thank my family, coworkers, and all the people who gave so much of their time and resources to make this victory possible. People of all political parties supported our campaign and I promise to work across the aisle to move our county and state in a positive direction.
The election is now over and it is time to get to work to improve our schools, help our businesses so they can start adding jobs again, and begin reforming state government. I look forward to hearing from you over the next couple of months. In a few weeks, I will announce community forums across our district so I can listen to you. This schedule will be released to the media, local governments, and on my Facebook page and website at www.nathanramsey.com.
Going forward as I serve you in Raleigh, I need your prayers and guidance so that I will make the best decisions for the people of our great state. While you may not always agree with the policy decisions I make, your voice will always be thoughtfully considered because my job is to serve you! Please contact me anytime.
Sincerely,
Nathan Ramsey
