FYI: Salsaritas was open since February
Thanks for pointing that out! This is a press release sent directly from the Salsarita’s company, so apparently the March 1 date indicates a grand opening event, which was probably preceded by a soft-opening period.
It was! The ribbon cutting by Asheville Chamber of Commerce was on the 1st.
Nice! Did you see who won the taco-eating competition? (Just curious!)
Unfortunately no. I was there from 1030 (only about 6 people were there waiting for 11) and left at 1145. The food was delicious, and it was partially crowded. I wish I did come back and watch, but had to go to UNC Asheville for school.
Oh, well. Glad you enjoyed the food!
