Press release from the Henderson County Tourism Development Authority:
For the first time in decades, downtown Hendersonville will have a home for Santa Claus. A Santa house has been delivered to Main Street. Mark Ray, visionary, and owner of Dad’s Collectibles is the driving force for the house. Ray wanted the children throughout the countty to have the memories he savors of bringing his Christmas list to Santa as a young boy.
The house will be open on the following Friday and Saturday nights from 6-8 PM: December 2, 3, 9, 10, 16 and 17. The house will be open for photos when Santa is not there.
The house is located in front of American Detailing which is adjacent to Dad’s at 620 North Main. Ray has worked hard to make the intersection a retro corner for all to enjoy with the restoration of two coca cola murals and reworking of the old
Higgins printing shop. There is no admission to the house but donations will gladly be accepted.
For more information go to dadscats.com or call Mark Ray at 828 698-7525.
