Evening of fun outdoor learning about the outdoors for Boy and Girl Scouts 8 years and up.
WHAT: Scout Night is an evening of fun learning about the outdoors for Boy and Girl Scouts 8 years old and up. This is also a great opportunity for scouts to earn their badges. REI Asheville will offer three outdoor educational classes and one demo station: Map and Compass Basics, Bike Maintenance Basics, How to Pack a Backpack Basics & the Ten Essentials, and water filter demo station. There will also be a Leave No Trace game. This event is free for everyone. Kids who attend three or more classes and stations will get the chance to win fun prizes!
