Scout Night at REI planned for April 30

Evening of fun outdoor learning about the outdoors for Boy and Girl Scouts 8 years and up.

WHAT: Scout Night is an evening of fun learning about the outdoors for Boy and Girl Scouts 8 years old and up. This is also a great opportunity for scouts to earn their badges. REI Asheville will offer three outdoor educational classes and one demo station: Map and Compass Basics, Bike Maintenance Basics, How to Pack a Backpack Basics & the Ten Essentials, and water filter demo station. There will also be a Leave No Trace game. This event is free for everyone. Kids who attend three or more classes and stations will get the chance to win fun prizes! Registration is required for troop leaders, parents and kids. Please register at http://www.rei.com/event/38130/session/48078.
