Press release from the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to locate a missing man from the Weaverville area of Buncombe County.
Matthew Cole, age 49, is approximately 5’ 10” and is bald with blue eyes. Mr. Cole was last seen near his residence on May 22nd in the early morning hours on foot. He may have been seen later after leaving his residence in the Indian Camp Branch Road area of Weaverville, but it is unknown where he went from there.
Mr. Cole was wearing shorts and a t-shirt. He may have some mental health concerns at this time.
Anyone with information about the location of Matthew Cole is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670.
