Sheriff’s office recovers stolen vehicle and audio equipment, seeks three individuals with open warrants

Press release from Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office:

On June 23rd, a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado K150 truck was stolen from a residence within Asheville city limits and was later located in unincorporated Buncombe County. Detectives with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office conducted an investigation which identified several subjects in the larceny of the stolen truck, as well as stolen property. Detectives located and recovered $18,000 of stolen audio equipment from inside of the truck.

Two individuals have been taken into custody in connection with this ongoing investigation. Thank you to the SCET at the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office, Probation & Parole, US Marshals Task Force and Asheville Police Department for the multi-agency assistance and arrest of these individuals.

Matthew Kyle Berberick is charged with:
Larceny of MV
Felony Possession of Stolen Property
Felony Alter/destroy Stolen Vehicle Parts
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny

Bianca Ann Forbes is charged with:
Aid & Abet Larceny of MV
Domestic Criminal Trespass
Larceny of a Firearm

The Sheriff’s Office is looking for three individuals with open warrants as our investigation continues.

Coree Nathan Crook, a 30-year-old, white male is wanted for:
Felony Possession of Stolen Property
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny
Felony Alter/Destroy Stolen Vehicle Parts

Alecia Mae Horton, a 20-year-old, white female is wanted for:
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny
Felony Alter/Destroy Stolen Vehicle Parts

Daniel Jordan Trammel, a 25-year-old, white male is wanted for:
Conspiracy to Commit Felony Larceny

Anyone with information about the location of the wanted individuals is asked to contact the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670 or Asheville-Buncombe CrimeStoppers at (828) 255-5050. Callers can remain anonymous with both numbers.
