Short Street Cakes, Asheville’s all-natural, from-scratch, Southern-style cake bakery, is getting warm and cozy for the 2015 Holiday season with the launching of it’s Holiday Specials menu.

Specials include a traditional Buche de Noel (a chocolate sponge cake rolled into a jellyroll shape, filled with whipped cream, and iced to look like a Yule log), Eggnog Cake, Chocolate Peppermint Cake, Lavender Tea Cakes, Decorated and Decorate-Your-Own Gingerbread People, and Rum Pecan Bundt Cake, as well as classic pies like Sweet Potato, Pecan, and Pumpkin.

Back by popular demand is also the Piecake, known as “The Turducken of Dessert,” Piecake is a pie baked inside a cake. Short Street Cakes is also introducing a new flavor for the 2015 holiday season: Cranberry Orange White Cake.

Please allow 48 hours notice for your order. We will be open through Christmas Eve, including Monday, December 21, from 8am to 6pm. We will be closed for the twelve days of Christmas: December 25th to January 5th, re-opening on January 6th, (Twelfth Night) just in time for the first King Cakes of the Mardi Gras season.
