SILSA students receive encouraging words

Press release from Asheville City Schools:

Talk about taking #CougarPride to the next level!

School of Inquiry and Life Sciences at Asheville (SILSA) students returned from Winter Break to find quite the surprise greeting them both in their hallways and bathrooms!

Phrases like “Mirror, Mirror on the Wall There’s a Leader in Us All,” “Kindness is Free” and “Don’t Let Anyone Dull Your Sparkle” now adorn stall doors and walls, encouraging students to feel successful and understand that they matter!

Principal Cush, Ms. Parks and Ms. Mataybas added the new words of encouragement with help from an Asheville High School/SILSA PTO Grant!

Love this!! Saw a similar story recently about this being done at a high school, what a great idea! Words of encouragement are never unwelcome.
