David Joe Miller is proud to announce his next WORD show featuring Nationally touring storytellers, Sheila Arnold Jones and Adam Booth.

This will be the second WORD show at a new venue for David Joe Miller, Habitat Tavern and Commons at 174 Broadway St. in downtown Asheville on Friday night August 18th. Doors will open at 6pm for seating and the show will begin at 7pm.

Adam Booth is a four time winner of the West Virginia Liars Contest and has appeared at the National Storytelling Festival and International Storytelling Center numerous times. He is an internationally touring spoken word artist and musician, educator and event producer. He’s won two Parents Choice Silver Honor Awards and two Storytelling World Awards. He currently resides in West Virginia where produces a spoken word series entitled “Speak.”

Sheila Arnold Jones, of Hampton, VA. is an accomplished storyteller, teaching artist and historic character interpreter. She’s been a program coordinator at Colonial Williamsburg for several seasons and is also a veteran of the National Storytelling Festival and International Storytelling Center stages in Tennessee. She is the lead performer and CEO of History’s Alive.

Sheila and Adam will share the stage at Habitat Tavern and Commons in a rare, duo WORD show. Tickets will be sold online for 15.00 at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/word-with-adam-booth-and-sheila-arnold-jones-tickets-36253209325 or at the door, night of show, for 18.00. Seating is limited so online ticket purchases are suggested for best seating.
