Submit your nominations for NCCDD’s Advocacy and Leadership Awards

Press release from NC Council on Developmental Disabilities: 

Only two weeks left to submit your nominations for NCCDD’s Advocacy and Leadership Awards! The awards honor individuals who passionately work to build a better North Carolina for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD).

 

The awards include:

  • Jack B. Hefner Memorial Award, recognizing an outstanding NC advocate and/or volunteer on behalf of people with I/DD
  • Helen C. “Holly” Riddle Distinguished Service Award, honoring professionals who work to break barriers and improve outcomes for people with I/DD
  • The North Carolina Leadership Achievement Award, recognizing an outstanding North Carolina self-advocate whose work has improved the quality of life for people with I/DD.
