There will be an orientation meeting for hikers interested in the Swannanoa Rim Explorer Hiking Series on Thursday, Jan. 23 at 7 p.m. in the Black Mountain Savings Bank conference room.
The meeting is free to attend and the presentation will last about an hour.
Also, the 2013 Garden of Eden hike has been rescheduled for Saturday, Jan. 25 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The price of the hike is $25 for members and $45 for nonmembers.
