Taking down the Fence @ 14 Riverside Drive

The old PSNC building next to 12 Bones & across from CURVE studios @ 14 Riverside Drive is getting rid of its fence. Thanks to the willingness of the City of Asheville to work with its Asheville Area Riverfront Redevelopment Commission partner, The Town of Woodfin is taking the fencing to reuse around a new auto impound yard. The AARRC has been very active this year, helping to land the New Belgium facility on the west bank of the French Broad River and now to open up the east side of the river so that folks can access our riverfront. Plans will begin for the reuse of the actual building, following the recommendations of the River Arts District Transportation Infrastructure Project (or RAD TIP for short).
