The City of Asheville has opportunities for you to help shape the future of our city. Serving on one of the City’s various boards, commissions or committees allows you to have a voice. We all benefit from the experience, knowledge and perspective the wide range of people who call Asheville home bring to our community. Now is your chance to share your time and talents. Take steps to become a local leader and ensure, along with the City, our community continues to thrive.

This is the list of current openings on the City of Asheville Boards & Commissions. The application deadline is February 28 at 5 p.m. unless noted otherwise.

This month’s opportunities include:

African American Heritage Commission
Board of Electrical Examiners
Design Review Committee
Historic Resources Commission
