Because of the its success last year, Pisgah Brewing Company, at 150 Eastside Drive Black Mountain, NC 28711, is proud to partner with the Haunted Trail for its 4th year scaring Buncombe County families. The complete non-scary scare package includes a heart pumping walk through the trail where you will enter different worlds filled with live actors, spooky sounds, and spectacular props that will leave you questioning reality. After adrenaline reaches peak levels during the trail walk, guests spill out screaming and laughing into the Party at Pisgah Park. The party warmly welcomes trail-goers with Halloween crafts, local food trucks and amusing, super-sized games and Pisgah beer on tap for the grown-ups! The younger Ghouls ages 3-4 can enjoy our “Sweet Peek Tour” through the trail before it gets dark and the Party at Pisgah Park has plenty of entertainment while braver family members explore the trail.

While it sounds downright frightening, the art of keeping it entertaining and not traumatizing makes The Trail special. Guests can stroll at their own pace through the trail, and opt out of any world they deem too scary. “We created The Trail to be a DIY fright level so parents and children can design their own experience” says Trail Co-owner Arica Haro.  “Our staging and prop collection continues a 30 year tradition. This priceless collection allows our guests’ imaginations to go wild and makes the possibilities endless,” notes Trail Co-Owner Hans Carlos Banzer. “We are so honored that in 2012 the Resort and Commercial Recreation Association awarded “The Excellence in Programming” award to The Trail for its age appropriate entertainment experience.”
