Exploring a wide range of colors and mediums, the newest Art in the Airport exhibit, The Rhythm of Color, at the Asheville Regional Airport, will give viewers a local color of the western North Carolina region — and it is now open through October 30.
“The art gallery is truly a way for both the passengers and public alike to experience a taste of our region,” says Alexandra Bradley, marketing and public relations specialist at AVL and curator of the gallery.
There will be three artists featured in the exhibit — each residing in western North Carolina — and all the art on display complement the theme of color movement and rhythm.
Artists who reside in any of the eleven counties within AVL’s primary service market may apply for acceptance into upcoming exhibits.
Artwork can be purchased from the gallery by emailing art@flyavl.com. Details about the program can be found on the airport’s website at flyavl.com.
