Ultimate Ice Cream flavor YO’s Flaming Hearts benefits Youth OUTright

Press release:

During the month of November, Ultimate Ice Cream will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of YO’s Flaming Hearts to Youth Outright (YO), as part of its Flavor of the Month program and its partnership with Asheville area nonprofit organizations.

YO’s Flaming Hearts is a spicy cinnamon ice cream with Red Hots folded in.

“Ultimate Ice Cream Company opens its doors and arms to all people, and we hold a special appreciation for our youth, no matter who they love or how they identify in this world,” said Ultimate’s Jaime Walker. “We recognize that it can be an incredibly hard path to find the courage to be one’s true self, especially as a young person. Ultimate Ice Cream values the good work that Youth Outright does in our community, and the gifts that the YO youth bring in the powerful, simple act of being themselves.”

Ultimate Ice Cream has two Asheville locations: 1070 Tunnel Road, 828.296.1234 (open Sunday – Thursday, 12:30 – 9:00 pm and Fridays and Saturdays, 12:30 – 10:00 pm) and 195 Charlotte Street, 828.258.1515 (open daily 12:30 – 10:00 pm).
